Author's Notes
Hi! Did you enjoy my story? I hope so. This is very loosely based on something that happened to me in the Final Fantasy XI online game. I called him my "gender affirming eboy" in a diary entry, but Theodore is really nothing like that player, nor is Alexia much like me, I think!
Because the story is based on this and vaguely set in the Vana'Diel world, I decided not to change the names. If I keep writing entries, I might make it 'original' by swapping out some parts. But for now, it's basically a Final Fantasy fanfiction. I've always wanted to write 'fantasy rpg' type of stories, in spite of the fact that they are so popular, I can't help but be drawn to them.
The font you see in the logo is a public domain font used here called Ferrum. The little PSP sprite of the White Mage was ripped here by BlueMario. Thanks BlueMario!
If you want to see a second chapter, definitely let me know on the Guestbook or something! Even just one would be really special to me. Fiction doesn't come naturally to me at all versus my normal posts. I probably have a thousand bad stories in me, but maybe one of them will be enjoyed! That would delight me.
To research the light novel writing style I wanted to imitate, I bought I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, Vol. 1. I haven't actually finished the book yet, but it's fluffy and cute. Maybe a little repetitive, but that's what this kind of story is about. I think I like manga the best, but reading a book is good for the mind.
What will happen next in Alexia and Theodore's weird relationship? Only I know! Ha-ha-ha!
